It's time for a much needed blog....we've celebrated birthdays, we're getting ready for summer, and a whole bunch of other exciting things I'll share! First let me get overdue birthday pics out the way. Jackson celebrated his 3rd birthday with his cousin Tommy at It's My Party. The kiddos had a great time and I would highly recommend it! By nature I am a doer and I love planning parties, and being right in the middle of everything, so I had a little trouble just sitting back and being waited on at my own son's party! I did make the cake, so I had something to offer. I do have to admit....it was awesome being able to sit back and soak it all in....seeing all the kid's faces.... smiling.... giggling.... laughing....running....bouncing....sliding! I got to sit down and talk to everyone....and I even joined in on the fun to take Avie on a few slides! You know something inside us always likes to go back and be a kid again.
So birthdays are past and I am working on lots of new projects! Hopefully I will have pics to post of Avie's "new" room. I was getting over-whelmed with all the projects that I have started, so I told myself one thing at a time, so right now my focus is on finishing Avie's room....and we are almost there! The next month is packed with cake baking, birthday parties and crawfish boils to attend, teaching vacation bible school, and to top it all off we will be taking a trip to Branson, Missouri and Petite Jean, Arkansas with my family!
